About our company
Chuck started plumbing in 1985. He worked for Nelson Plumbing which was owned and operated by his father. Chuck started in the residential industry working with his father, where they preformed new construction service and remodeling. In 1990 Chuck broke away from his fathers company and went into Washington D.C. to start working on large commercial scale projects. Chuck worked on high rise office buildings, large scale restaurants, and hospitals. In 1994 Chuck became a Maryland state journeyman plumber. In 1996 he received his Maryland state Master Plumber certificate. While he was working for contractors in Washington D.C. Chuck would work evenings and weekends trying to build a business of his own, doing residential work and small scale commercial projects such as strip malls , churches, etc....
In 2000, Chuck finally went into business for himself, full time; starting C.E Nelson III Plumbing Inc. 75% of his work was new residential construction with the remainder being small scale commercial. Business was great for 6 years. In 2006 we were starting to feel the strain of a weakening economy. By, 2008 Chuck had laid off his employees, parked all of his company vehicles and started working back in Washington D.C. again.
In 2015 Chuck started what is now known as Chuck the Plumber. Chuck operated Chuck the Plumber in Southern Maryland installing plumbing in custom homes and small commercial projects. In 2017 we packed up and moved to Florida, continuing to operate a business in Maryland while living in Florida he pursued his Florida State Master Plumber Certification. He received his Florida State Master Plumber Certification in March of 2020.
Chuck started plumbing with his father as a little kid, dragging his dads tool box behind him. If you want a real plumber call Chuck the Plumber.
